
RESIST project aims to develop an integrated, interoperable and scalable safety/security platform to offer high levels of resilience and secure the nearly seamless transport operation of critical infrastructures (bridges and tunnels) suffering all types of extreme physical, natural and man-made incidents and cyber-attacks. It will network in a unified manner the targeted groups (transport control room operators, engineers, drone operators on the field, and citizens/users) to enable gathering, processing and disseminating information for quick and accurate situation awareness of the infrastructure behavior before and after the occurrence of an extreme event, planning, and re-routing to ensure seamless transport operation.
ED will undertake the definition of the system architecture and the development of the integrated and unified RESIST platform that orchestrates heterogeneous products offering high level of protection.
