HEDGE-IOT Project: Boosting Grid Flexibility with IoT Integration

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is the coordinator of the HEDGE-IOT project, a flagship project that bridges the energy and the Data science domains. It aims to unleash the potential of IoT devices through innovative cloud/edge layers orchestration towards increased grid flexibility, grid resilience and renewables integration. The project is currently designing its system and business use cases and is set to soon deliver the first version of its conceptual architecture, incorporating the concept of Data Spaces, through the implementation and use of data connectors. The consortium will soon meet in the Netherlands within September 2024, where the next Plenary meeting will be hosted. In June a technical Workshop took place to align on the development of Business and System Use Cases, hosted by RWTH in Aachen.
