Crete Valley Project Begins Implementation!

Representatives of the European project CRETE VALLEY travelled across Crete in June to present the Renewable Energy Valley ‘Living Lab’ (REV-Lab). The new decentralized power system will enable residents to meet their energy needs through renewable sources.

CRETE VALLEY aims to develop an innovative Renewable Energy Valley ‘Living Lab’ (REV-Lab) consisting of four Community Energy Labs (CELs) located across Crete. The CELs will demonstrate a data-driven, multi-carrier grid system for the sustainable and cost-effective production and storage of energy.

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS assumes responsibility to provide for an Energy Data Space adaptation as enabler of REV-level activation, by drafting the architecture of a Digital Twin and developing the Energy Data Space for sovereign data sharing.
