EUROPEAN DYNAMICS was awarded a Cyber/Digital Security contract

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS LUXEMBOURG SA participates in a consortium implementing a Horizon 2020 funded research and development project in the field of “Cyber/Digital Security”, titled SPEAR (Secure and Private Smart Grid).

SPEAR aims at a) detecting and responding to cyber-attacks using new technologies and capabilities, b) detecting threat and anomalies timely, c) developing all-in-one security detection solutions, d) leveraging advanced forensics subject to privacy preserving, e) confronting Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) and targeted attacks in smart grids, f) increasing the resilience of the smart grid innovation, g) alleviating the lack of trust in smart grid operators and h) empowering EU-wide consensus. European Dynamics is responsible to specify a privacy-preserving framework and a set of privacy-by-design guidelines, to ensure that necessary forensic information can be collected to provide a detailed forensic report that can used as legal evidence in court, towards the attribution of cyber attackers.

The consortium includes 16 leading international organizations and has an overall budget of EURO 3 M.

The Swiss government awarded the new federal e-Procurement system (simap2019)

The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Secrétariat d’État à l’économie, SECO), recently awarded to EUROPEAN DYNAMICS a contract for the supply, installation, commissioning, and up to 10-year corrective and evolutive maintenance, of the country’s new federal e-Procurement system called simap2019.

The simap2019 system will be used by the federal government of the Swiss Confederation as well as by the country’s 26 cantons and their municipalities.

Following the successful completion of the Analysis and Design phase within March 2018, the simap2019 system is currently implemented based on EUROPEAN DYNAMICS’ e-PPS Electronic Procurement Platform. Production operation is planned in 2019.

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS implements the e-Government Procurement (e-GP) System for the Government of Uganda

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS has been awarded a contract for the supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the e-Government Procurement (e-GP) System for the Government of Uganda.

The project is funded under the Regional Communication Infrastructure Program (RCIP) of the World Bank and managed by the National Information Technology Authority of Uganda (NITA-U).

Uganda’s e-GP shall be based on EUROPEAN DYNAMICS’ e-PPS Electronic Procurement Platform which covers the full procurement lifecycle, all procurement modalities and keeps a record and audit trail of all procurement activities.

The purpose of the e-GP system is to maintain efficient, complete and up-to-date public procurement information for all public entities of Uganda. It will also provide tender opportunities to all potential national and international bidders.

A EUROPEAN DYNAMICS BELGIUM SA consortium was awarded a EURO 21.7 million R&D contract

A consortium led by EUROPEAN DYNAMICS BELGIUM SA was awarded by the European Commission the FLEXITRANSTORE R&D contract in the field of “Low Carbon energy”, supported by Horizon 2020. FLEXITRANSTORE aims to develop a next generation of Flexible Energy Grid and to provide the technical basis for the valorisation of flexibility services, enhancing the existing European Energy Market.

FLEXITRANSTORE aims to develop a next generation of Flexible Energy Grid and to provide the technical basis for the valorisation of flexibility services, enhancing the existing European Energy Market. EUROPEAN DYNAMICS BELGIUM SA is the project coordinator and responsible for the development of a wholesale market platform to provide flexibility services and support cross-border auctioning and trading of energy.

Intellectual Property IT System for the Government of Hong Kong

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS has been awarded a major contract for the supply of the new integrated IT system for the Intellectual Property Department of Hong Kong.

The contract concerns the implementation, support and maintenance of a turn-key system that will cover the electronic management of Intellectual Property rights (trademarks, patents, industrial designs and copyrights) of the Government of Hong Kong. ED offers its electronic Intellectual Property System (eIPS), a software platform which provides a wide range of services that can be easily adapted, customised, built and deployed on a variety of different ecosystems and on public or private clouds.

The platform is based on an open system architecture, utilizes open standards and provides adapters for seamless integraton with 3rd party systems and services.

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS was awarded an R&D contract (L4MS – Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs)

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS SA (ED) participates in a consortium implementing a Horizon 2020 funded research project in the field of “Factories of the Future”, titled L4MS (Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs).

L4MS aims to provide an integral and pan-European ecosystem to facilitate the take up of logistics automation by manufacturing SMEs across Europe. ED is responsible for the definition and development of a marketplace to act as a broker between SMEs who seek solutions and financing, and to stakeholders who are interested in providing services and technologies.

The consortium includes various leading international organizations and has an overall budget of EURO 8.7 M.

The Government of Ghana awards EUROPEAN DYNAMICS a contract for its Electronic Government (e-GP) System

Ghana’s Ministry of Communications and the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) selected ED’s e-PPS for the e-Procurement activities of Ghana’s Public Sector.

The contract is funded by the World Bank and concerns the design, configuration, implementation, maintenance and support of the new e-GP system. Once deployed, e-PPS will accommodate the entire public sector community to perform their activities of public procurement.

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS delivered critical IT systems to the European Commission’s DG Justice and Consumers

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS delivered an IT system to the Directorate General Justice and Consumers of the European Commission, concerning the interconnection of European business registers. In June 2017, EUROPEAN DYNAMICS delivered successfully the integration of the European business registers with the e-Justice portal (https://e-justice.europa.eu), which now becomes an one-stop-shop for retrieving public information on European companies stored in national registers. Moreover, EUROPEAN DYNAMICS supports the European Criminal Records Information System (ECRIS) for the exchange of criminal records among competent authorities in Europe. EUROPEAN DYNAMICS will deliver, within 2017, additional services to the European Commission, supporting the interconnection of the European Land Register with the e-Justice portal and a Consumer Law Database system.

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS was awarded an R&D contract (iBorderCtrl)

A consortium led by EUROPEAN DYNAMICS LUXEMBOURG SA was awarded by the European Commission the iBorderCtrl R&D contract in the field of “Border Crossing Points”, supported by Horizon 2020.

iBorderCtrl aims to design and develop a 2-stage-procedure solution that uses modern software and hardware technologies in order to enable fast and reliable border-crossing of travellers.

The project includes various leading international organizations and has an overall budget of EURO 4.5 M.

Procurement Notice Board and e-Learning Platform for the Caribbean Community CARICOM

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS has been awarded a contract for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and support for software and hardware for CARICOM Member States’ e-Procurement services and more specifically the Community Public Procurement Notice Board and related e-Learning services.

ED offers e-PPS for the design and deployment of the Community Public Procurement Notice Board (CPPNB) which shall be used for the creation, management and online publication of all procurement notices (Annual Procurement Plans, Contract Notices, Invitations to tender, Contract Award Notices, etc.).

The CARICOM Member States who shall be using CPPNB are Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago.
