04/05/2015 Java Developer/Application Specialist (Java, J2EE) (JADAS/04/15)

We currently have a vacancy for a Java Developer/Application Specialist fluent in English and French to offer his/her services as a specialist who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at the customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

  • Evolutive maintenance, business analysis, design of solution including estimation;
  • 2nd Level support as a single point of contact, Root Cause Analysis and documentation;
  • Problem analysis including debugging, follow-up and resolution;
  • Implementation of development methodologies and documentation of processes;
  • Release management, usage and configuration of build environment;
  • Testing including non-regression and pre-release testing;
  • Draft technical and software documentation.

Your skills:

  • University degree with minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT;
  • Expertise in development using Java, J2EE, XSLT, HTML, JavaScript and T-SQL;
  • Hands on experience in JBoss Application Server and Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise;
  • Working experience in Sybase PowerDesigner and Maven/Nexus;
  • Very good communication skills and ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings;
  • Excellent command of English and French, both written and oral.
