16/01/2015 Business Development Officer (BDO/01/15)

We currently have two (2) positions available for a Business Development Officer, at Luxembourg and Brussels respectively. Applicants for both positions must be fluent in English and French. The successful candidates will be a part of the Business Development Team working at the company premises.

Duties / Tasks:

    The Business Development Officer’s primary responsibility is to help the Business grow i.e. to plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, as to create, assist in developing and maintaining ongoing business relationships with the Company’s major customers and partners, in accordance with the agreed business plans:

  • Manage and analyse clients’ business needs; client development through regular meetings;
  • Deal with the implementation of contract management;
  • Ensure that deliveries are compliant with client\'s expectations and business/profitability objectives, liaising with technical and not technical company departments;
  • Generate leads for possible sales, building and reporting on client intelligence;
  • Formulation of strategy and business planning as well as launch and implementation of these;
  • Direct employee supervision and support of staff.

Specific Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Studies and / or IT and / or other relevant Engineering disciplines;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B IT services sales lifecycle;
  • Experience in a staff supervisory position and/or in HR management and recruitment is an asset;
  • Excellent oral and written communication ability in English and good working level of French is mandatory. Knowledge of other languages is an asset;
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, CRM and Internet use.

  • Positive, constructive, enthusiasm and flexibility to work in a challenging environment and “can do” attitude are a “must”.
