We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Test Engineer, fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in The Hague. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at the customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated into the Quality Assurance team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

Perform Test Analysis, design and execution of specific parts of new/updated functionalities related to the backend and front-end of the application versions, including functional and technical testing;
Draft and maintain test scripts for manual and automated testing;
Creation of representative test data and improving the test processes;
Transferring requirements into test design;
Test automation scripting.

Your skills:

University degree, with minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in software testing and testing of web services;
In depth expertise in the design and execution of functional and non functional test cases;
Experience with HP Quality Centre, HP Quick Test professional, Visual Studio and Visual Studio Team Foundation Server is desirable;
Extensive experience in the use of automated test tools, test management tools and defect tracking systems;
Sound knowledge of formal specification-based test techniques and fundamental test process activities;
Experience in SQL, XML and regular expressions will be considered an asset;
ISTQB Glossary certification and knowledge of Scrum, RUP or other iterative development methodology will be advantageous;
Fluency in both oral and written English.
