11/03/2015 Junior Project Manager (PMO, PMIS) (JPM/03/15)

We currently have a vacancy for a Junior Project Manager fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in The Hague, Netherlands. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Project Management team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

  • Provide project and program management support to the client’s Project Management Team and set up the Project Management Office and support services;
  • Production and distribution of project support documentation such as plans and reports;
  • Development and maintenance of project deliverables, gathering and input of data into existing project management tools and in the new tools still to be set up;
  • Set up and implementation of a Project Management tool (PMIS) in order to support all project management processes from planning, resourcing and budgeting perspective and the processes between the Project Management Team and different internal departments;
  • Coordination of the execution of the project and the implementation of the project management methodology, the production and approval of project deliverables at the specified quality level;
  • Identify proactively the risks affecting the project and interaction with the stakeholders for the project implementation, including regular project progress reporting;
  • Coordinating project work streams and dependencies.

Your skills:

  • University Degree in IT with minimum 3 years of professional experience in in Project management and Project Management Tooling within international / EU public/ government environments;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in setting up and running a project management office;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with structured project management methodologies in COTS related projects;
  • A certification or training certificate on project management methodologies (e.g. Prince 2);
  • Working knowledge of planning and estimation techniques as well as structured project management reporting methods is considered an asset;
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
