03/10/2014 Test Engineer for Electronic Equipment (TEE/10/14)

We currently have a vacancy for a Test Equipment Engineer, fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert in various projects of the company across Europe (mainly in Belgium and The Netherlands – the expert may decide to undertake missions to the locations of the clients from any location or even be based in the same city as the client).

Your tasks:

  • Update basic software and firmware of associated hardware for various types of electronic equipment;
  • Modify equipment in accordance with applicable technical directives;
  • Diagnose defective TMDE faults;
  • Remove and replace defective components.

Your skills:

  • Technical Expertise in electronic test equipment testing;
  • Minimum 2 years experience with analog, digital, fiber optic, optical, and electronic communications equipment;
  • Higher secondary education and vocational training on electronics or electrical engineering;
  • Knowledge of MS office (including excel and outlook);
  • Competence in performing TMDE calibration, adjustment, alignment, functional checking, and re-calibration after repair, utilizing appropriate standards and conform international regulations;
  • Ability to use specialized hand tools and soldering equipment;
  • Good instructional technique skills;
  • Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
