We currently have a vacancy for a Ruby on Rails Web Developer/Analyst, fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Rome, Italy. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

Analyse functional requirements and create technical specifications;
Analyse, design and build applications in a Web/Internet delivery environment;
Perform hands-on coding, mentor junior developers and assist in architecting web content solutions.

Your skills:

University degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 6 years Enterprise Development experience;
Minimum 2 years experience with Ruby on Rails Development Framework;
Good knowledge of enterprise patterns, object oriented design patterns and programming techniques;
Knowledge of major Agile Project Management techniques such as Scrums, XP;
Experience in reading and writing UML diagrams;
Knowledge of GIT versioning systems;
Graphic design capabilities;
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Oracle 10g;
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
