We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Developer (Java, J2EE, Oracle) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Helsinki. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

Update the data model for an existing system;
Produce detailed design based on the requirements, the data model and the architecture document;
Develop the existing portal and do unitary tests;
Produce technical documentation such as API documentation;
Contribute to the deployment phase;
Support the operation of the existing system (bug fixing, application servicing, performance tuning);
Preparation of artefacts.

Your skills:

IT University degree;
Minimum 5 years experience in JEE technologies;
Experience with JEE application server such as Oracle Weblogic 10.3 or newer version;
Experience with Relational Database Management System such as Oracle 10g or later version;
Experience with Agile or equivalent;
Expertise with Google Web Toolkit, SmartGWT and Spring will be considered an asset;
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
