15/04/2008 JAVA–ORACLE Analyst Programmer (EC-JO/01/07)

The ideal candidate, will be required to create design specifications based on user requirements, participate in technical design and code reviews, develop and maintain application pages using JSP/Struts/Spring, implement business rules using J2EE, XML and SQL, writing and maintenance of J2EE applications that reflect the specifications, develop PL/SQL packages, design and creation of database (tables, views, indexes,…), produce database diagrams, integration with other applications.

Educational Requirements:

  • University degree with minimum 2 years of experience in IT, IT Management or similar. A postgraduate degree in the areas above or similar will be highly appreciated;
  • Sufficient theoretical knowledge of various application development technologies (e.g. RUP, UML) will be highly appreciated.

Experience Requirements:

Not all are required. A good mix of experience appreciated.

  • Minimum 2 years of analysis and programming experience;
  • Experience with JAVA development (Spring, Struts, J2EE, Eclipse, Hibernate, Junit);
  • Experience with UML case tools;
  • Experience with Rational tools;
  • Experience with XML, HTML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript;
  • Experience with /SQL development;
  • Experience with relational databases;
  • Experience with ORACLE SQL, ORACLE 9i, ORACLE 10g.

Linguistic Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is compulsory. Good knowledge of French will be highly appreciated.
