03/09/2015 Account Manager (IT skills) (AM/09/15)

We currently have a vacancy for an Account Manager with IT skills, fluent in English and French, to offer his/her services in Brussels. The work will be carried out in the company’s premises, as a member of the Sales Team.

Duties / Tasks:

The Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage ongoing business relationships with the Company’s major customers/accounts and partners in accordance with the agreed business plans, carrying out direct marketing and sales activities to help the Business grow, manage IT consultants offering their services within the customers/accounts in discussion.

More specifically:

  • Development of long term relationships and management of a portfolio of accounts, analysis of customers’ business needs through regular meetings;
  • Customer service and interaction, ensure that deliveries are compliant with customers’ expectations and business/ profitability objectives;
  • Customer and consultant contracts management;
  • Follow-up implementation of customer missions;
  • Management of consultants;
  • Use the existing network of industry contacts to generate new leads for possible sales, building and reporting on client intelligence.

Desired Skills &Experience Specific Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Studies and / or IT and / or other relevant Engineering disciplines;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B IT services account management/ sales lifecycle;
  • Experience in a staff supervisory position and/or in HR management and recruitment;
  • Excellent oral and written communication ability in English and good working level of French is mandatory. Knowledge of other languages is an asset;
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, CRM and Internet use.

Inter-personal Competencies:

  • Good business sense and understanding of the company’s market and competitor’s product(s) and service(s);
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to handle stress and deadlines;
  • Customer orientation and high level of flexibility;
  • Excellent oral and written communication ability in English and good working level of French is mandatory. Knowledge of other languages is an asset;
  • Motivated, result oriented and persistent;
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Open to learning and continuous improvement;
  • Planning, reporting, organising and decision making skills;
  • Analytical and critical ability;
  • Experience in multi-client and multicultural environments is an asset;
  • Professionalism, career orientation and team-player attitude;
  • Show persistence and seek alternatives and solutions;
  • Positive, constructive, enthusiasm and flexibility to work in a challenging environment and "can do" attitude are a "must".
