Tasks:

  • Development of web-enabled applications;
  • Graphical design;
  • Creating/maintaining applications for internet/intranet environments;
  • Development of front-ends and back-end systems;
  • Preparation and execution of test programs;
  • Technical documentation;
  • Preparation of scripts for data base migrations;
  • Preparation for scripts for application installation.

Qualifications :

  • Successful training at a specialised institute on products used for web development;
  • Fluency in English; Knowledge of Spanish will be considered a plus;
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication;
  • Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working.

Professional Experience:

  • 3 years of web development experience;
  • 2 years of experience with multi-user SQL-based databases;
  • Experience and knowledge with/of Adobe DreamWeaver; Adobe Photoshop; AJAX; DWR; Web 2 techniques; Apache; J2EE – especially tomcat; Ruby on Rails; Unix (openSolaris); MySQL;
  • Experience with Portlets will be considered a plus.
