07/09/2009 MOSS SharePoint Developer (DC/04/09)

We currently have a vacancy for a MOSS / SharePoint Developer to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Barcelona, Spain and who will form part of our internal IT team.

Your tasks:

  • Development of Client/Server, Multi-Tier web solutions;
  • Design, implementation, maintenance and support of web content management Systems;
  • Development of database applications;
  • Development using web front end technologies;
  • Integration development between disparate systems;
  • Drafting technical specification documentation;
  • Gathering requirements from users and communicate technical aspects to nontechnical individuals;
  • Contribute to the development of training material and user guides.

Your skills:

  • University degree with minimum 4 years experience in IT, or non university degree with minimum 6 years experience in IT;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SharePoint / MOSS 2007, reporting modules;
  • Minimum 1 year of development experience with ASP.NET and C# or VB.NET;
  • Proficiency in SQL Server 2005 including Transact SQL (T-SQL);
  • Practical experience of XML technologies, and their use in messaging/integration and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft IIS;
  • Experience with web front end technologies such as (D)HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, etc;
  • Experience in PHP (open source environment: apache, php, Linux),  and JAVA/ J2EE would be considered an asset;
  • Very good command of oral and written English.
