08/01/2013 SharePoint Architect (SAR/01/13)

We currently have a vacancy for a SharePoint Architect, fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Stockholm, Sweden. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the IT Project Team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

  • Give proposals for project strategies, planning, quality control and risk analysis;
  • Produce technical architectures and documentation;
  • Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data models and advise clients regarding key architectural decisions;
  • Evaluate projects from a technical point of view;
  • Deliver, design, implement and maintain solutions for new and existing web applications;
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to deployments and release management;
  • Report to the head of the SharePoint and CRM development group.

Your skills:

  • University degree with minimum 4 years experience in IT or non university degree with minimum 6 years experience in IT, ideally in architecting, designing and implementing IT solutions;
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft products such as SharePoint 2007/2010, SQL Server 2005/2008, using C# .NET (3.5/4.0), Active Directory and CRM;
  • Experience with designing and developing web services using XML and SOAP technologies and WCF;
  • Experience in migration/upgrade projects from MOSS2007 to MOSS2010, including data migration will be considered an asset.
