25/02/2014 Data Management Developer (T-SQL, SQL) (DMD/02/14)

We currently have a vacancy for a Data Management Developer, fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Stockholm. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or onsite at the customer premises. The successful candidate will be integrated in the Data Management Team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

  • Support data collections and the process of data quality management;
  • Perform data validations;
  • Define and produce the required outputs based on the collected data together with the experts that support the production of high profile reports;
  • Define and execute transformations of historical data;
  • Provide high quality user support;
  • Support development of Metadata defining new/updated data collections.

Your skills:

  • University degree in Computer Science with minimum 1 year of experience in IT or non university degree with minimum 2 years experience in IT;
  • Extended experience of data management especially in the field of epidemiology and/or public health;
  • Experience in data quality assurance (manual/automated validation of data) and in handling large, complex data sets;
  • Excellent knowledge of TSQL and of data handling using SQL;
  • Practical knowledge of STATA;
  • Experience with external user support through helpdesk is considered an asset;
  • Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
