13/01/2014 Business Analyst (BPM, UML) (BA/01/14)

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Stockholm. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at the customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Analysis team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

  • Gather, analyse and evaluate the emerging functional and non-functional business requirements to improve end user experience and usability of the existing system;
  • Analysis and development of additional business requirements, use cases and usage scenarios as well as workflows;
  • Contribute in the proposal and implementation of a Records Management System, workflow and industry standards;
  • Contribute and validate the functional testing and the design of new functionalities;
  • Document standard operating procedures and review the current business, technical and users’ support documentation;
  • Participate in migration activities and analysis of existing data;
  • Provision of assistance in the the architectural review through UML design;
  • Investigate and advise on the use of mobile devices for the document management tools.

Your skills:

  • University degree with minimum 4 years of experience in IT or non-University degree with minimum 6 years experience in IT;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in gathering and analysing functional and non-functional requirements for complex scientific applications;
  • Hands on experience in process mapping, business data modelling, workflow process analysis and process reengineering of Content and Document management systems;
  • Experience with BPMN, UML, Agile development processes,CASE tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect and MS Visio or Business Studio;
  • Knowledge or certification in MS SharePoint MOSS 2007 or 2010 and SharePoint content types;
  • Prooven experience in developing use cases, user stories, and mock ups;
  • Experience in coordinating technical, functional and business users;
  • Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
