15/04/2008 Software Engineer - Solution Designer (SESD/01/07)

Tasks:

  • Gathering and analyzing bid & customer requirements;
  • Designing integrated solutions in the fields of Application Software, Systems Architecture and IT Infrastructure;
  • Technical writing of proposals presenting the solution and the associated software development and project management methodologies that will be used in the implementation phase.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Computing or related fields;
  • Excellent Greek & English writing skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in IT including strong background in E-Business Applications / Internet Technologies (n-tier architecture, WEB Portals, J2EE/JSP/EJB, XML, RUP/UML) and Database Management Systems;
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure concepts and Internet Data Centre design issues will be a strong asset (WEB/Application Servers, Server Hardware, System Software and Operating Systems, Content Switches and Content Management Systems, High Availability and Load Balancing Techniques, E-mail Services, Storage Technologies, Security Issues and Methodologies).
